CIOCCI: Three Cheers for Constitutional Fundamentalism

In a recent editorial, the New York Times promoted a deeply flawed view of the role of the Constitution in lawmaking. The entire New York Times philosophy throws out the very purpose of the Constitution, which is a limited government — the limits of which are not necessarily imposed by the judiciary but self-imposed by all parts of government, and ultimately, and if necessary, by the People themselves.
